Market Doesn't Like Chicago's Odds in Pension Case

On November 18, 2015, oral arguments were heard in Chicago's appeal to the Illinois Supreme Court to uphold 2014 legislation reforming the city's pensions. Chicago's pension reform had previously been ruled unconstitutional by Cook County Circuit Court Judge Rita Novak. In an interview with The Bond Buyer, Jim Spiotto discussed the oral arguments before the Illinois Supreme Court and legal issues arising from the case.
